Best Practices for Using Wimba in the Online Classroom Setting

Welcome to the Wiki on Wimba, an experimental Wiki of the UMUC Office of Academic Technology.
The focus of this Wiki is on best practices in the application of Wimba Voice Tools and Wimba Live Classroom in online learning at UMUC. Please feel free to make any entries on these subjects. Entries can include topics such as technical best practices as well as pedagogcial best practices.
As a participant in this wiki, you are encouraged to edit or alter any article that you read which you wish to improve. Likewise, it is expected that articles you post will be altered, edited and improved by others.

Getting started
To look up an article on this wiki, simply enter a search term in the search box in the left menu bar. If there are any articles on that term, it will come up in a list of articles. You'll also have a link on that page that will allow you to write and publish a new article.
